Attention Pennsylvanians
I am very pleased to announce that in conjunction with Representative Todd A. Eachus, 116th Legislative District,
Pennsylvania we are launching a campaign to have the Regal Fritillary named as Pennsylvania’s official state
butterfly. Representative Eachus has seized this opportunity to introduce legislation into the House to help
us attain our goal in honoring not only our departed veterans but also this wonderful butterfly and all
Pennsylvanians. Please read the reasons why we feel that the Regal Fritillary would make the right choice as
Pennsylvania’s official state butterfly. If you would like to help us achieve our goal please contact Rep.
Eachus to show your support. Thank you very much.

Why the Regal Fritillary should be Pennsylvania’s State Butterfly
1. It is a very beautiful butterfly indigenous to Pennsylvania.
2. It is well protected at its present location.
3. It only resides at Indiantown Gap, site of a National Cemetery.
4. It would be tribute to our Fallen Heroes.
5. Indiantown Gap is centrally located in Pennsylvania.
6. 19 States have the Monarch butterfly as their State butterfly.
